Founded in 2015 in Cupertino, California, SHOPUBBI began as a simple hobby—selling pieces for friends, family, and through other popular resale platforms. What started as a small side passion quickly gained momentum as demand grew and our focus on quality became clear. This organic growth led to the launch of our own independent platform in 2020, marking the beginning of SHOPUBBI as you know it today.

From the start, SHOPUBBI was built on the belief that sustainable fashion should feel modern, elevated, and accessible. Every item is hand-selected from reputable retailers and certified outlets, chosen for its condition, craftsmanship, and versatility. Our mission has always been to offer a thoughtful alternative to traditional retail—proving that secondhand can look and feel just as polished, if not better, than buying new.

As our community expanded, so did our offering. In 2022, we introduced brand collaborations and a complete menswear category, allowing us to serve more customers with a wider selection of timeless, trend-forward, and everyday essentials.

In 2026, we introduced SHOPUBBI+, a natural evolution of our platform. SHOPUBBI+ expands our offering to include a curated selection of brand-new items across apparel, home, lifestyle, décor, and our growing Furniture+ category. This addition allows us to bridge retail and resale more seamlessly than ever—giving our customers access to both high-quality secondhand pieces and carefully sourced new arrivals, all in one place.

This expansion supports our growing customer base across the U.S., Canada, and beyond, while maintaining the thoughtful curation, quality standards, and reliability that define the SHOPUBBI experience.
