There are no complicated brand-by-brand payout calculations.
Your commission is based primarily on your item’s final selling price.

Consignors who choose to receive their proceeds as SHOPUBBI store credit receive an additional 5% of the item’s final selling price.

How Your Payout Is Calculated
Your commission percentage is determined by the final selling price of your item—not necessarily its original listing price.
For example:
Your item sells for $800.
At the 60% commission rate:
You receive $480 cash.
Or, if you choose SHOPUBBI Credit at the enhanced 65% rate:
You receive $520 in SHOPUBBI Credit.
Your item sells for $1,500.
At the 70% commission rate:
You receive $1,050 cash.
Or choose the enhanced 75% rate:
You receive $1,125 in SHOPUBBI Credit.

What Does SHOPUBBI’s Commission Cover?
Consignment is designed to take the work of resale off your plate.
Depending on the item and selling arrangement, SHOPUBBI’s portion of the sale helps cover services such as:
Item evaluation
Assessing condition, demand, market value and resale potential.
Authentication
Reviewing applicable designer and luxury merchandise through our authentication process.
Professional presentation
Preparing imagery, descriptions, measurements and condition information.
Pricing & merchandising
Researching the market and positioning your merchandise competitively.
Marketing
Introducing merchandise to SHOPUBBI customers and applicable selling channels.
Customer service
Handling buyer questions and the customer-facing transaction.
Payment processing & ecommerce
Managing the infrastructure required to securely complete the sale.
Fulfillment
Preparing and coordinating applicable customer orders.
You provide the piece. We handle the resale experience.
Who Sets the Selling Price?
SHOPUBBI determines pricing using a combination of:
Original retail value, current retail pricing, comparable resale prices, brand, condition, age, rarity, seasonality, current trends and customer demand.
Our goal isn’t simply to list an item at the highest possible price.
It’s to identify a price that appropriately represents its value and gives it a realistic opportunity to sell.
Can Prices Change?
Yes.
Resale markets change, and merchandise may require price adjustments or promotional pricing to remain competitive.
SHOPUBBI may recommend or make applicable pricing adjustments according to the terms of your consignment agreement.
Your commission tier is determined by the item’s actual final selling price after applicable discounts, not its original listing price.
What About Direct Buyouts?
Direct buyouts work differently from consignment.
If SHOPUBBI offers to purchase an eligible item directly, you’ll receive an individual purchase offer rather than a percentage-based consignment rate.
If you accept the offer, SHOPUBBI purchases the merchandise from you directly, and you don’t have to wait for an end customer to purchase it.
Not all merchandise qualifies for direct purchase.
