How Remote Consignment Works
01 — Submit Your Items
Start by sending us clear photographs and information about the pieces you’d like to sell.
Include the brand, size, condition and any other relevant details.
For luxury merchandise, photographs of labels, hardware, serial numbers, date codes, receipts and other identifying details may also be requested.
02 — We Review
Every submission is reviewed individually by SHOPUBBI.
We consider condition, brand, style, resale value, seasonality, customer demand and our existing inventory before determining whether an item is a good fit.
Submitting an item does not guarantee acceptance.
03 — Choose the Applicable Remote Process
Once an item has been accepted, we’ll provide instructions for the selling arrangement available for your merchandise.
Depending on the item and program, you may send your merchandise to SHOPUBBI for consignment or qualify for an arrangement that allows you to keep possession of the item while it’s listed for sale.
04 — Your Item Is Listed
SHOPUBBI handles the customer-facing resale process.
Depending on the arrangement, this can include pricing, product presentation, merchandising, customer communication and promotion through SHOPUBBI and applicable selling channels.
05 — Ship When Required
If your item is being physically consigned with SHOPUBBI, we’ll provide instructions for sending it to the appropriate location.
For eligible remote listings where you retain possession, we’ll contact you when your item sells and provide the applicable shipping instructions.
Items must be kept in the same condition in which they were originally submitted while actively listed.
06 — Get Paid
Once your item sells and the transaction has satisfied the applicable requirements, your proceeds are issued according to your selling agreement.

Keep It Until It Sells.
One of the biggest advantages of eligible SHOPUBBI remote listings is simple:
Your item may not need to leave your closet until there’s a buyer.
For qualifying merchandise, you can retain possession while SHOPUBBI markets the item.
If it sells, we’ll contact you with the next steps for fulfillment.
This can be particularly useful for higher-value pieces that sellers would prefer not to ship somewhere simply to have them stored while awaiting a buyer.

Acceptance depends on the individual piece rather than simply the category it belongs to.

Photographing Your Submission
Good photographs help us properly evaluate your merchandise.
For each item, we recommend providing clear images of:
- The entire item from the front and back
- Brand and size labels
- Material or care labels when applicable
- Hardware and closures
- Interior of handbags
- Soles and interiors of footwear
- Serial numbers, date codes or identifying markings when applicable
- Any visible wear, staining, scratches or damage
- Original packaging and accessories, if available
Natural daylight or bright, neutral lighting works best.
Please don’t use filters or editing that changes the item’s actual color or condition.
Your Responsibility While Holding a Listed Item
If you’re approved to retain an item while SHOPUBBI lists it, you are responsible for keeping it available and in its submitted condition.
Don’t sell, give away, materially alter or continue heavily using an item without notifying SHOPUBBI if it is actively listed through us.
If something changes—whether that’s availability, condition or your decision to sell—contact us as soon as possible.
This helps prevent an item from being purchased by a SHOPUBBI customer when it is no longer available as represented.
What Happens When It Sells?
We’ll contact you with the applicable fulfillment instructions.
Package your merchandise carefully and follow the shipping requirements provided by SHOPUBBI.
The item received must correspond with the merchandise originally submitted and accurately reflect its represented condition.
For luxury and other applicable merchandise, additional inspection or authentication may take place before the transaction is considered complete.
Once the transaction is successfully completed, you’ll receive your applicable proceeds according to your selling agreement.
Remote Doesn’t Mean Impersonal.
