Our environment is facing significant challenges due to excessive consumption of clothing and accessories, which also contributes to increased pollution associated with the textile industry's demand. We have taken steps not only to operate a sustainable business model focused on second-hand items but also to collaborate with local environmentally friendly companies such as BPC
Our BPC mailers are completely compostable, and by participating in this initiative, we are actively contributing to the reduction of the detrimental effects of plastics on the environment. Better Packaging Co. (BPCo) collaborates with forward-thinking brands committed to reducing their environmental impact and making a positive difference through sustainable packaging.
As a global leader in regenerative packaging solutions, BPCo. is dedicated to creating a better world through innovative and eco-friendly designs. Our mailers are crafted from 100% biodegradable and compostable materials, including corn starch, PLA (a bioplastic derived from corn), and PBAT (Polybutyrate Adipate Terephthalate). This blend is non-toxic and free from harmful chemicals such as Phthalates and Bisphenol A (BPA).Certified to be free of GMO materials.
Safe for worms, worm farms, and bokashi bins. Be sure to remove any remaining self-seal strips and labels (unless specifically marked as compostable) before composting.
Every aspect of our packaging, including flyers, wrapping paper, shoe boxes, and tote bags, is crafted from recyclable materials and printed using plant-based, biodegradable inks. We prioritize eco-friendly practices at every step to minimize our environmental footprint and promote a greener future for packaging solutions.
At our company, we're committed to sustainability, and that includes reducing the carbon footprint of our shipping operations. That's why we've partnered with Planet, a leading carbon removal company, to offset the carbon emissions generated by shipping our products to customers. Through Planet, we invest in projects that remove an equivalent amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) from the atmosphere, effectively neutralizing the emissions produced during shipping.
By offering carbon-neutral shipping at checkout, we empower our customers to join us in the fight against climate change and support sustainable practices. Together, we can make a positive impact on the planet while delivering exceptional products to your doorstep.
As of March 1, 2024, we've made a significant shift in our sourcing practices. We're proud to announce that we now exclusively source inventory and accept customer item submissions from brands that prioritize sustainability or are actively working to improve their environmental practices to align with new industry standards.
This means saying goodbye to fast fashion and embracing a future where ethical and eco-friendly initiatives are at the forefront of our operations. By making this change, we're taking a stand for the planet and encouraging our customers to join us in making more conscious shopping decisions.
